Distribution is the way in which something is shared out among a group or spread over an area.




A film distributor is a company or individual for the marketing of a film. One of the biggest distribution companies are momentum.
The role of the distributor is first ask, who will want to see the film and why would they watch it. It is very important for them to get as many people as possible to come watch the film. They also need to find there target market. The most popular target audience are 12-15 aged. To do this, they have to make campaigners to reach out to those target audiences. They also have to find the unique selling point of the film.
Independent distributes find the Cannes( the film ).
